STEP 1 DATALOGGING/SCANNING

You cannot successfully program a better chip for your car unless you know exactly the engine is doing, and when you change a setting how the engine reacts. To do that you need a Scan Tool, or Data logging capability a lot of company’s that can program a chip or ECM say that don’t need to data log.
Well 2 exact cars with the same parts are still going to run differently due to differences in small things you would normally think of, even if they do have Self Learn Capabilities.

Sportec SC 200 based on VW Golf VI 1.4 TSI

The Volkswagen Golf has always been one of the most tuned cars ever. Fans and owners are often quite keen to extract more power from their Golfs than is available to them off the factory floor. In recognising this Swiss-based Sportec has created the Sportec SC 200 which is based on the Golf 1.4 TSI.

This year’s Wörthersee tour featured plenty of cars as usual. One of the eye-catchers present was the Volkswagen Scirocco coupe. Tuners HS Motorsport decided to take the tour out of its venue and into their workshop by making this car they call Remis. The Munich-based company started by reworking the standard 2.0-litre TSI engine to produce more power.
